Our Services

Our services include personalized ABA therapy, social skills groups, parent support and education, and home or school based interventions, all tailored to meet the unique needs of your child and family.

At Adaptive Brain Academy, we offer flexible and personalized ABA therapy services in a variety of settings throughout Lexington, KY, and surrounding areas. While we provide therapy in our traditional clinic environment, many families choose our in-home or school-based ABA therapy options for greater convenience and impact.

By delivering therapy in your child’s natural environments—whether at home, in school, or in the community—we integrate learning into everyday routines. This natural environment teaching (NET) approach makes therapy more practical, relevant, and immediately effective.

Working in familiar spaces allows our team to address real-life challenges and help your child develop meaningful skills that lead to lasting progress in daily life.

At Adaptive Brain Academy, our Social Skills Groups are specially designed to support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental differences in developing essential social skills. Located in Lexington, KY, our programs provide a supportive, structured environment where children can learn and practice real-world social interactions.

Through engaging, play-based activities, children build skills such as:

  • Initiating and maintaining conversations

  • Recognizing and responding to nonverbal cues

  • Taking turns, sharing, and cooperative play

  • Making and keeping friends

Led by experienced behavior analysts, our social skills groups help children improve their confidence, communication, and ability to connect with peers. These small-group sessions are ideal for promoting peer interaction and building meaningful relationships that carry over into daily life.

At Adaptive Brain Academy, we believe that empowered parents are essential to a child’s success. Our Parent Support and Education programs in Lexington, KY provide families with the tools, strategies, and resources needed to confidently support children with autism and developmental disabilities.

We help parents:

  • Learn practical, evidence-based strategies grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

  • Reinforce learning and behavior goals at home

  • Create a positive, structured environment that promotes growth

  • Address behavioral challenges with confidence

Our programs include individual coaching, parent training sessions, and support groups—all led by experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). These sessions offer a safe, non-judgmental space for caregivers to share experiences, receive expert guidance, and build a strong support network with others who truly understand the journey of parenting a child with special needs.
